3. Acceptance and amendment of the terms
Accessing the website, creating an account and placing an order imply that you have read and fully accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or place orders.
The Seller reserves the right to amend the content of this page at any time, without prior notice. The version applicable to an order is the one published on the website at the time the order is placed, which is why we recommend that you review this page before each purchase.
These terms are supplemented by the Returns Policy and the Privacy Policy, which form an integral part of the contract.
4. Use of the website and customer account
You can place orders as a guest or by creating a customer account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide (name, delivery address, phone number, email) and for keeping your account password confidential.
Orders placed with incomplete, clearly incorrect or false details may be cancelled by the Seller. Likewise, the Seller may refuse or cancel orders in the event of abusive behaviour, repeated and unjustified refusal of parcels, or attempted fraud.
By placing an order, you agree that the documents and communications relating to it (confirmation, invoice, delivery updates) may be sent to you electronically, by email or SMS.
5. Products, availability and information
We strive to make product descriptions, dimensions, materials and photographs as accurate as possible. However, there may be slight differences in shade between the images shown on screen and the physical product, caused by monitor settings, lighting or the characteristics of natural materials (wood, textiles, stone), which may show variations in texture and colour.
The stated dimensions may be subject to usual manufacturing tolerances. Decorative accessories shown in photographs are for presentation purposes only and are not part of the product unless this is explicitly stated in the description.
The display of a product on the website does not guarantee that it is in stock. If an ordered product is no longer available, we will contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative, a new delivery date or a refund of the amounts paid.
6. Prices and charges
- Product prices are set in Romanian lei (RON) and include VAT.
- For deliveries to other European Union member states, prices are displayed and charged in euros (EUR), converted from lei at the exchange rate applicable at the time of display. The amount in euros shown at checkout is the amount you pay.
- The price does not include the delivery cost, which is calculated and shown separately at checkout, before you confirm payment.
- The Seller may change the displayed prices at any time, without prior notice. Changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
- In the event of an obvious pricing error (for example, a price clearly disproportionate to the value of the product), the Seller has the right to cancel the order, informing the Customer and fully refunding any amounts paid.
- Discounts and promotional campaigns are valid during the announced period, while stocks last. The Seller may modify or end a campaign before the announced end date, informing customers on the website. Orders placed before the campaign ends benefit from the promotional conditions in force at the time the order was placed. Unless otherwise stated, discounts cannot be combined.
7. Orders and conclusion of the contract
To place an order, add the products to your basket and complete the checkout steps. Before submitting the order, you can review and change the selected products, quantities, and delivery and billing details.
After submitting your order, you will automatically receive an email confirming that it has been registered. This message confirms receipt of the order, not the conclusion of the contract.
The contract is deemed concluded when the Seller confirms acceptance of the order, by phone or email, or, where applicable, when the products are dispatched. Until then, the Seller may refuse the order, in whole or in part, in particular if stock is unavailable or contact details are incorrect.
You can cancel an order free of charge by contacting us on +40 741 808 090 or at contact@tasi.ro, as long as it has not yet been handed over to the courier. After delivery, the rules in section 10 apply.
8. Payment methods
You can pay for your order by card, online, at checkout (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, UnionPay), or with Google Pay at express checkout.
Orders delivered to European Union member states are paid online, by card or with Google Pay. Cash on delivery is not available for these orders.
If you choose cash on delivery (available only for deliveries within Romania, for orders of up to 1,500 lei including shipping), no advance payment is required when placing the order. The full value of the order, including the delivery cost, is paid to the courier on receipt of the parcel.
The tax invoice is issued electronically and sent to the email address associated with the order, or handed over together with the parcel. For invoicing to a company, you need to enter the company details (name, tax ID, trade register number, address) when placing the order.
Any refunds (in the event of a return or an order cancelled after payment) are made, for orders paid by card (including via Google Pay), to the same card, and for orders paid cash on delivery, by bank transfer to the IBAN account provided by the Customer. Orders paid in euros are refunded in euros. Details on the Returns Policy page.
9. Delivery of products
Within the European Union, we deliver by international courier. In-stock products usually arrive within 5–10 working days of order confirmation.
For Eichholtz and Maytoni products and other made-to-order products, the delivery time is communicated individually, when the order is confirmed.
Delivery costs €30 per order, regardless of the order value, and is shown at checkout, before payment.
We do not deliver outside the European Union.
Delivery times are estimates and are calculated in working days from order confirmation. They may be exceeded for reasons beyond the Seller's control (weather conditions, courier delays, the Customer's unavailability at the specified address).
When you receive the parcel, check that the packaging is intact in the presence of the courier. If the packaging is damaged, ask for a damage report to be drawn up and notify us within 48 hours at contact@tasi.ro.
The risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to the Customer when the Customer, or a person designated by them, takes physical possession of the products.
If delivery cannot be made for reasons attributable to the Customer (wrong address, not answering the phone, unjustified refusal of the parcel), the costs of shipping and returning the parcel may be borne by the Customer.
10. Right of withdrawal (returns)
Under Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014, the Consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of the date on which they take physical possession of the products, without having to give a reason and without penalty.
The full procedure, return conditions, exceptions (personalised or made-to-order products, unsealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons), the return address, the return form and the refund method are set out on the Returns Policy page, which forms an integral part of these terms.
In short: the cost of return shipping is borne by the Customer, except for defective or incorrectly delivered products (including for orders delivered to another EU member state, whose returns are sent to the return address in Satu Mare, Romania); refunds are made by bank transfer to the IBAN account provided by the Customer in the return form, within no more than 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned products.
11. Warranties and conformity
The products sold benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity under Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021 for a period of 2 years from delivery, for Consumers. For legal entities, the warranty period is the one stated by the manufacturer in the warranty certificate.
In the case of a non-conforming product, the Consumer is entitled, under the conditions provided by law, to have the product brought into conformity by repair or replacement and, if these are not possible or do not remedy the situation, to a proportionate price reduction or to termination of the contract.
The warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear of the product and natural changes in materials over time;
- damage caused by improper use, incorrect assembly by the Customer or failure to follow the care instructions;
- damage caused by accidents, impacts, excessive humidity, heat sources, prolonged exposure to sunlight or harsh cleaning agents;
- work or repairs carried out by unauthorised persons.
To make a warranty claim, contact us at contact@tasi.ro or on +40 741 808 090, with the invoice and a description of the defect, accompanied by relevant photographs.
12. Limitation of liability
The Seller is liable for the obligations assumed under the sales contract, within the limits provided by applicable law. Under no circumstances may the Seller's liability exceed the value of the products in the order that gave rise to the damage, except where the law provides otherwise.
The Seller is not liable for damage resulting from improper use of the products, from assembly carried out by the Customer or by third parties, or from failure to follow the instructions for use and care.
The website may contain links to pages operated by third parties. The Seller does not control and is not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
We make every effort to keep the website running continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the absence of technical errors; the website may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or for technical reasons beyond our control.
13. Intellectual property
All content on the tasi.ro website – texts, photographs, video materials, graphics, logos, design elements, databases and software – is the property of TASI HOME STUDIO SRL or its partners and is protected by copyright and industrial property law.
Copying, reproducing, distributing, publishing or using any content for commercial purposes without the Seller's prior written consent is prohibited. You may download or print content solely for personal, non-commercial use, provided that source attributions are retained.
Unauthorised use of the content gives rise to civil and, where applicable, criminal liability, in accordance with the law.
14. Personal data
We process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), solely for the purposes necessary for processing orders, delivery, invoicing, warranty, returns, communicating with you and fulfilling our legal obligations.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, the right to object and the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (dataprotection.ro).
Full details of the data collected, the legal bases for processing, the storage period, the data recipients and the use of cookies can be found in the Privacy Policy. For any request regarding your data, you can write to us at contact@tasi.ro.
15. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform its contractual obligations if this is due to an event of force majeure or a fortuitous event within the meaning of Romanian law (unforeseeable and insurmountable events: natural disasters, armed conflicts, general strikes, restrictions imposed by the authorities, major disruptions to communication or transport networks).
The affected party will notify the other party within 5 working days of the event occurring. If the situation persists for more than 15 days, either party may terminate the contract, without either being able to claim damages.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
This contract is governed by Romanian law. Any disputes will be settled amicably; if this is not possible, jurisdiction lies with the Romanian courts of the Seller's registered office, unless the law provides for another competent court in favour of the Consumer.
We recommend that you first contact us directly at contact@tasi.ro or on +40 741 808 090 – most issues are resolved quickly.
As a Consumer, you may also contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (anpc.ro) or use alternative dispute resolution (ADR), in accordance with Government Ordinance no. 38/2015, through the ADR entities within ANPC (anpc.ro/ce-este-sal).
17. Final provisions
If any clause of this document is declared void or unenforceable, the remaining clauses remain valid and in effect.
Failure by the Seller to exercise any right provided in these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
