The Wimbledon desk is inspired by a refined Louis XVI-style desk (c. 1900–14) by Mewès and Davis (active in London and Paris from 1900). Characterized by slender baluster legs and adorned with details, our vision captures the timeless sophistication of the watercolor-over-graphite drawing from The Met collection. The influence of the original is evident in the ebony finish and the intricate details of our desk, embodying a legacy of refined craftsmanship.
