INSPIRATION

Inspired by a fragment of a frieze, a sculpted and painted terracotta panel from the 11th century, held in The Met collection, which was discovered in the Tepe Madrasa Mosque complex in Nishapur, Iran. The intricate network of stars and polygons in the work — originally painted in red and deep blue — is reinterpreted here in the chandelier's interlocking geometric pattern, translating ancient architectural art into a spectacular centerpiece for the contemporary home.
