Echoing the lines that outline the palm-like shape of the granite column, the candelabra’s smoked glass elements exude an air of timeless elegance. It captivates with its brushed brass finish. INSPIRATION

The Sahure Candelabra is inspired by the Sahure Palm Column from Ancient Egypt (c. 2458–2446 BC), which stood over 21 feet tall in its original form. The granite column, now housed in the galleries of Egyptian art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, is one of 16 that lined the perimeter of an open courtyard in the pyramid-temple of Pharaoh Sahure. Our candelabra takes its design lines from the date palm leaves depicted at the top of the museum column. The candelabra’s tiered elements are crafted from smoked glass with a brushed brass finish for a refined look.
