INSPIRATION

This piece is inspired by a tea table made in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, by Robert Harrold (American, born in England, active 1765–1792), during the period 1765–1775. Housed today at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the original table reflects the refined tastes of early American furniture and has been reinterpreted in this versatile and modern format.
