The Americana dining table is inspired by the design of a table (c. 1870–80) in the Metropolitan Museum of Art collection in New York. The design, created by A. Damon et Cie (French, active between 1870 and 1900), depicts an elegant table with carved ornaments and turned legs. The Americana dining table takes those elegant decorative elements and brings them to life for the modern home, in a black veneer finish.
