INSPIRATION


This piece is inspired by a Baroque silver stand created in England in 1724–1725 for the wealthy couple George Bowes and Eleanor Verney. Unlike other English examples of silver furniture, which were usually made of a wooden core covered with engraved silver leaf, the exceptional museum table is composed of cast silver components. The Verney side table celebrates this sumptuous craft.
