Description
The "Akhihotep Wall Sculpture" is not only a captivating design but also a great addition to your home wall decor.
Inspired by the ancient "Relief Depicting Personified Estates" found in the Tomb of Akhtihotep, this bronze sculpture features a rich bronze finish. It skillfully portrays figures carrying offerings on their heads, symbolizing the agricultural estates that supported the funerary rituals. With its raised relief and historical charm, it is a perfect piece for your home wall.INSPIRATION
The Akhtihotep Wall Sculpture is inspired by the reliefs depicting personified estates (circa 2575-2551 BC) from the tomb of Akhtihotep, a royal official and priest. Now in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, these limestone reliefs portray figures representing agricultural estates or farms, carrying baskets of offerings for the deceased on their heads. The reinterpretation piece was made of bronze with a bronze finish and adopts the design aesthetics from the humanist relief markings of the original.
