Description

The Met x Eichholtz presents the Liao Wall Object, Set of 2.

A sculptural statement that brings refined historical depth to any interior. With their smooth sand finish and balanced circular forms, these decorative wall elements fuse ancient craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic.

INSPIRATION

The design is inspired by a pair of decorative medallions from 10th–11th-century Liao China (907–1125). The Museum’s sand medallions reflect the cultural richness of the era. Reimagined through the lens of The Met x Eichholtz, the Liao Wall Object honors this historical legacy in a form suited for today’s interiors.
