Inspired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art and New York City, the Gallery Display Cabinet takes its origins from the elegant display furniture found throughout the museum. Crafted from black veneer with clear glass doors, the display cabinet evokes the sophisticated style of The Met’s architecture, the Great Hall, and its iconic steps. It is also inspired by the museum’s numerous works of art and objects, and the way they are presented.
