Decorated Christmas tree rental for businesses: how it works and what to choose

Renting a decorated Christmas tree is how a business can have a fully dressed tree in its lobby, restaurant or shop window without buying the tree and decorations, and without dealing with installation and storage. Below we explain how the Tasi Home Studio service works, how to choose a tree for your space, how much renting costs compared with buying, and what to ask when you request a quote. All terms and prices are those listed on the Decorated Christmas trees: rental and sale page at the time of writing.

How does renting a decorated Christmas tree work?

You choose the model, and our team transports, installs and arranges the tree at your location; at the end of the season we come back to take it down and collect it, on a date agreed together.

1. Choose the model by size, style and space. We have 10 decorated trees, at 2.5 m, 3 m and 4.15 m.
2. Request a quote with the model, location and period. Availability is limited, and bookings are confirmed in the order requests are received.
3. Installation: the tree arrives fully decorated, as pictured; we install and arrange it for you.
4. Removal and collection take place at the end of the season, on the agreed date.

Who is renting suitable for?

For businesses that want a decorated tree only during the season, without storing it for the rest of the year: hotels, restaurants, cafés, shops, offices and event organisers.

In a hotel or restaurant, the tree in the lobby is the first thing guests see. In an office or shop, what matters most is that the decorations arrive on time and leave after the holidays without any hassle. If your display is bigger than a single tree, we also have decorated sets for entrances: 2 reindeer of 127 cm with gift boxes, 2 lanterns of 1.8 m or 2 urns of 1.48 m. Which decorated tree should you choose for your space?

Start from the ceiling height and the free width: the tree should be 20–30 cm shorter than the ceiling and leave room to walk around the base.

The heights and diameters below come from the spec sheets of the trees in the collection. The recommendation by type of space is our team's; measure the spot precisely before you choose.

In a shop window, check the depth first: a 2.5 m tree needs 1.65–1.70 m at the base. In an office, place it where it doesn't block a door or an access route. Choose the style to match the interior: classic red, green and gold (Regal Alpin, Crimson Ember), gold (Golden Glam, Star of Wonder), pastel (Winter Pastel, Fairydust, Sweet December) or theatrical, inspired by the Venetian carnival (Venetian Splendor). Renting or buying: which is better value for a business?

Renting is better value if you want the tree for one to three seasons or a different look every year; buying makes sense if you keep the same tree for several years and have somewhere to store it.

At the prices in the table on the service page, the sale price of a decorated tree is roughly three times the rental price for one season.

Estimate, with the calculation:

• Regal Alpin, 3 m: rental 7,865 lei incl. VAT per season, purchase 24,079 lei incl. VAT. Three seasons of rental: 3 × 7,865 lei = 23,595 lei. With the 15% discount for 3 seasons booked from the start: 7,865 lei × 0.85 = 6,685.25 lei per season, i.e. 20,055.75 lei for three seasons.
• Golden Glam, 2.5 m: rental 6,050 lei incl. VAT, purchase 18,150 lei incl. VAT. Three seasons: 3 × 6,050 lei = 18,150 lei, the same as the purchase price; with the 15% discount: 3 × 5,142.50 lei = 15,427.50 lei.

The calculation does not include transport, which is calculated separately based on the location. Beyond the money, the practical difference is this:

What should you ask when requesting a quote?

Tell us the model, location and period, then clarify the transport cost, the installation and removal dates and whether the model is available.

• Model and alternative: is the chosen model available? What would be the second option if it is already booked?
• Location: the exact address and the spot in the building; how much does transport there cost?
• Space: the ceiling height and free width, so we can check that the tree fits.
• Dates: does the standard 15 November – 15 January period suit you, or do you need a custom one?
• Access: are there time slots or building rules for installation?
• Seasons: do you want the tree in the following years too? Committing to 3 consecutive seasons from the start gets you 15% off.
• Accessories: do you need reindeer, lanterns or urns at the entrance? The Imperial can also be rented as a complete display (tree, reindeer and gifts), for 8,712 lei incl. VAT.
• Invoice: your company details for the invoice.

When should you request a quote?

As early as possible before 15 November, when the standard rental period begins: models are limited, and bookings are confirmed in the order requests are received.
